After a mixed day of racing in Cheshire at Oulton Park International for Rounds 8 & 9 of the 2021 Quaife MINI Challenge UK Trophy almost a fortnight ago, LDR Performance Tuning’s Louie Capozzoli heads to another new track to tackle for the next two rounds of the championship, which will again take place along with qualifying this coming Saturday (August 7th).
The Brackley-based driver is looking to move up the order both in the overall standings, where he currently is sixth, along with the rookie classification in fourth at present.
The North Yorkshire circuit provides a welcome test for all drivers, but the West Northamptonshire ace is looking ahead to the different nuances of the 2.1-mile circuit.
“I’m really pleased about going to another new track here at Croft, and I know it won’t be easy,” admitted the 18-year-old ahead of the race meeting.
“I’m still hungry for that first overall win, which I’ve not been able to get yet. However, I know I’ve got the backing of all the team here at LDR, and they have always made sure everything is ready to fight at the sharp end.”
Croft Circuit has its fair share of long straights, heavy braking zones and some sweeping corners, but it will provide breath-taking action!
